For this project I created a pamphlet outlining the six basic steps of candle making. I chose this topic because it is something my mom and I have been doing together for years and have a lot of fun with. The basic steps of making candles are pretty simple, but you do have to be precise about measurements and timing so I made sure to include those details in my instructions.
Within my imagery I wanted to have a focus on bright colors to create a warm and inspiring feeling. I also wanted to focus on texture, because the tactile aspect of making things with your hands is one of the most satisfying aspects about all forms of craft-making.
